Press release from Art House, partner in West Park MyCom afterschool offerings, currently offering classes to youth at Artemus Ward from 4-6pm on selected Monday & Wednesday’s during the 2012-2013 school year (pre-registration at BPDC is required):
As the holidays approach, there is no better time to reflect upon the many good things that have happened to Art House this year. The most significant of these is the work we have done with Community Partnership for Arts and Culture (CPAC) over the past few months to design a community survey intended to gather input from community partners, organizations, schools and residents. This survey is meant to help Art House strengthen program offerings and, more importantly, identify on a larger scale, how Art House can better meet the needs of the neighborhoods we serve.
The mission of Art House is to make art accessible to Brooklyn Centre and the Greater Cleveland community by providing instruction, encouragement, and facilities. Your voice is crucial for our success and the success of the children and families we serve. Whether you are a friend, partner, resident, or class participant, we need to hear from you. Maybe you only know us by name—if so, we need to hear from you too!
The survey takes about five minutes. To show our thanks, each survey participant’s name will automatically be entered into a drawing for one of several gifts including one adult class valued at $200 or less; one children’s class valued at $125 or less; a special piece of artwork, or one of several restaurant gift cards.
The survey will be available online through January 15, 2013. A hardcopy of the survey can be made available in English and Spanish. The results of the survey will be assessed by CPAC and shared with the community in early March. Please contact Amy Craft or Stephanie Kluk at 216.398.8556 for more information.
Please help Art House better serve our mission!
