Puritas resurfacing

Puritas Avenue will be receiving a well-deserved facelift next year and you are invited to be a part of the community meeting to discuss the changes that are coming.  The meeting is at 6:30pm on January 14th and will inform the construction plans.

“The purpose of this meeting is to present the Puritas Ave Resurfacing plan to the public and to gather public input on that plan. The project limits are SR 237 to W. 130th Street. The improvements include pavement repairs, spot curb repairs, sidewalk and driveways where necessary, replacement of inadequate catch basins, and ADA compliant ramps at all non-compliant locations.  The City would also like to add green space where widened driveways and sidewalks exist.

Final pavement markings will consist of a 3-lane roadway with one travelled lane in each direction and a center left turn lane.  5 foot bicycle lanes will be added in each direction.”

The meeting is located on the campus of Blessed Trinity Church in St. Joseph  Hall, which is best accessed from W. 140th St.
