Family Matters – first edition launched

Family Matters masthead

Our neighborhoods are excellent places for families to visit and flourish thanks to abundant affordable single-family homes, apartment and condo options, and two-family floor plans, especially in the W. 140th St. corridor, which is populated with 2 new construction public and 1 regional-draw private elementary schools and John Marshall High School*, in addition to the Rockport branch of Cleveland Public library that has tutoring for elementary students and a brand new Teen Rock afterschool center. Bookended by two vital commercial corridors that satisfy most shopping needs, this historic neighborhood has lots of stories to tell in the first edition of Bellaire-Puritas Development Corporation’s Family Matters in West Park newsletter.

The newsletter is primarily distributed through schools here and in nearby neighborhoods suburbs, where most of our new new residents hail from.  You can find out more about this new publication and our BPDC Community Post on our archive page here.

If you have story ideas about an interesting person, institution, or event, please suggest them to the editor and let us know if you would be interested in joining our volunteer writing corps, too.

* Learn about the exciting 3 new high schools opening at John Marshall’s historic site this Fall.
