Get in The LOOP!

Where can you go to get connected to all that is going on for youth in the West Park community? Check out the West Park Youth Mobilization Team meetings every fourth Tuesday of the month at BPDC. The meetings feature opportunities to meet youth program providers, share program information and updates, meet youth leaders and hear an “agency spotlight” each month to learn more about all that is available for youth.

Here is a sampling of people and agencies who help make this network happen: local youth leaders, America SCORES! (soccer, writing and community service after-school program) YMCA, Cleveland Public Library, College Now (ACT help and video-making program), Riverside Park Estates Community Center, West 130th Tri-League, Valley Riding at Rocky River Reservation, Hasani Management garden camp for youth, local churches and others.

All are welcome to work together to best serve our young people! There are too few places where adults and youth can gather, learn from each other and work together for a better community. We gather around the motto: “Imagine a neighborhood where every child and teenager is fully supported in his or her physical, social, emotional and educational growth.”

The meetings are on the 4th Tuesdays at BPDC at 5:30 p.m. Snacks are always provided!
