Career Day in the Metroparks

Career Day in the Metroparks is  a free behind-the-scenes up-close and personal tour of how the Metroparks works and all the careers it employs.  Transporation is provided, departing and returning from the BPDC offices and the tour will include lunch.

The tour will include the Zoo and the Ranger Headquarters at Rocky River Reservation.

Careers that will be showcased include: guest services, human resources, gift shop, animal care, horticulture, mechanic, planning and GIS mapping, biology, secretarial and information specialists, park management, naturalists, recreation specialist, marketing, food service, and retail.

The program is offered through Youth Outdoors, a program of the Cleveland Metroparks, 4-H, OSU Cuyahoga County Extension, and the City of Cleveland as a collaboration with Bellaire-Puritas Development Corporation, neighborhood for the West Park MyCom, a youth development initiative.
